SHORT TERM RESIDENCE PERMIT
(1) Short-term residence permit may be granted to the following foreigners:
(2) Short-term residence permit is issued for a maximum of one year at a time.
(3) Residence permits issued within the scope of those who will attend Turkish learning courses can be issued twice at most.
(4) Residence permits issued within the scope of those who have completed their higher education in Turkey and applied within six months from the date of graduation can be granted for a maximum of one year, for once only.
FAMILY RESIDENTIAL PERMIT
(1) Turkish citizens, those who are within the scope of Article 28 of Law No. 5901 or foreigners who have one of the residence permits, refugees and subsidiary protection status holders;

To the dependent foreign child of himself or his spouse,
A family residence permit can be issued for a period not exceeding two years at a time. However, the duration of the family residence permit may never exceed the duration of the sponsor's residence permit.
(2) In case of marriage with more than one spouse, according to the law of the country of citizenship, only one of the spouses is granted a family residence permit. However, family residence permit can also be given to children from other spouses.
(3) In the family residence permit of children, the consent of the mother or father who has joint custody outside Turkey, if any, is required.
(4) Family residence permits provide the right to education in primary and secondary education institutions up to the age of eighteen without obtaining a student residence permit.
(5) Those who have completed the age of eighteen among those who have stayed in Turkey with a family residence permit for at least three years can convert this permit into a short-term residence permit upon request.
(6) In case of divorce, a short-term residence permit may be granted to a foreigner who is married to a Turkish citizen, provided that he or she has stayed with a family residence permit for at least three years. However, if it is proven by the relevant court decision that the foreign spouse is a victim of domestic violence, the three-year period is not required.
(7) In the event of the sponsor's death, a short-term residence permit may be granted to those who remain with a family residence permit attached to that person, without any time requirement.
STUDENT RESIDENCE PERMIT
A student residence permit is given to foreigners who will study at a higher education institution in Turkey with an associate degree, bachelor's degree, master's or doctorate.
Foreigners who will receive primary and secondary education, whose care and expenses are undertaken by a real or legal person, can be granted and extended a student residence permit for one-year periods during their education with the consent of their parents or legal representatives.
A student residence permit does not give the student's parents and other relatives any right to obtain a residence permit.
If the education period is less than one year, the duration of the student residence permit cannot exceed the period of study.
LONG TERM RESIDENCE PERMIT
Foreigners who have stayed in Turkey for at least eight years without interruption or who meet the conditions determined by the Migration Policy Board are granted an indefinite residence permit by the governorships with the approval of the Ministry.
Refugee, conditional refugee and subsidiary protection status holders, humanitarian residence permit holders and those under temporary protection are not entitled to a long-term residence permit.

HUMANITARIAN RESIDENTIAL PERMIT
Victims of Human Trafficking Residence Permit
Provided that the approval of the Ministry is obtained, the humanitarian residence permit is canceled and not extended by the governorships when the conditions that make it compulsory to grant the permit no longer exist.
Victims of human trafficking residence permit;
